Patricia has specialized in substance use disorder as well as behavioral issues, since 1984. Her clinical work has been in public agencies, private practices, hospital settings, and with EAP’s (employee assistance programs). Areas of expertise are problematic sexual behavior, family of origin issues, relationship problems, couples therapy, recovery work, mood disorders, and group work. Ms. Smith utilizes EMDR, hypnosis, and psychodramatic techniques in her approach.

Saulo has a variety of experiences working with troubled youth and adults. As a bilingual therapist able to provide services in both Spanish and English, Mr. Ortiz utilizes a broad array of approaches to treat the whole person, and not just the problem. He has a strong understanding of substance abuse and mental health concerns, and has shown to be effective in working with older teens and adults. Specialty areas include, but are not limited to, adolescent issues, men's issues, marital problems, substance abuse, trauma, and mood related disorders.​

Anthony J. Foy
LCSW, CSAC
Has over 20 years experience providing therapy for adolescents and adults. He is an expert substance use disorder. His areas of expertise include depression, relationship issues and trauma. Mr. Foy enjoys helping individuals find balance by addressing the issues that keep them stuck. He believes that every person has the capacity to heal and change and facilitates that healing process through the use of therapeutic tools such as EMDR, and other mindfulness based treatments.
Regina Carroll

A licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years experience counseling individuals and couples. Her past work with a local employee assistance program has provided her with a broad knowledge base for working with both individual and family issues throughout the life span. Her areas of expertise include trauma recovery utilizing EMDR and Ego State Therapy. Other areas of expertise include women’s issues, relationships, addiction/recovery support, grief support, workplace problems, anger/stress management, divorce recovery, family of origin issues, crisis management and personal growth. She welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds.
Leah Sanders

I have experience working in both public and private sectors, including inpatient and outpatient settings. I use a strength-based perspective with a focus on accountability, change, and self-awareness.
I support individuals with a growth mindset, enhancing their life satisfaction and helping them see the best version of themselves. My experience includes addictions, substance use disorders, relational issues, narcissistic abuse, and trauma. I use an eclectic approach, drawing on various tools from my training and experience that I and the individual find impactful. My core theoretical orientations are cognitive-behavioral, reality, and interpersonal therapy. I am passionate about witnessing individuals change their lives.
Heidi A. Kulberg

Dr. Kulberg’s mission “to inspire, empower and support others so that they may explore the boundless possibilities that await them along their journey” fuel her medical practice. As a board-certified Family Physician, she has spent over two decades treating patients with chronic disease. Combining the knowledge of chemical dependency as a chronic neurologic disease with her passion to partner with individuals along their recovery journey, she joins Meridian Psychotherapy with enthusiasm.
Danielle Gange

Attended West Virginia University, Morgantown, and South University, Virginia Beach. She served as the Director of Nursing for an outpatient surgery center and also was the Care Coordinator for Sentara Leigh Hospital. She provides medication management services for adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. She provides Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opiate Use Disorder using buprenorphine (Suboxone). Danielle's philosophy is that medication, combined with patient education and care coordination, will allow her support the patient to achieve their long term mental health goals.

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused and person centered techniques to help assist my clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. I have experience working with clients who suffer from chemical dependency, depression, anxiety, and grief and loss. I also have experience working​ with children and parents to address behavioral concerns to help alleviate dysfunction with the home, school, and community settings. I have experience with a wide variety of concerns such as serious mental health issues, trauma, marital/relationship issues, depression, anxiety, anger management, and grief and loss. I have worked with individuals with a variety of diagnoses (Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and PTSD to name a few). Other areas of concern include : adjusting to life changes (careers, relationships, parenting and life changes/transitions). My goal is to provide the best possible support, guidance and clinical intervention to enhance the lives of each individual and family I serve.​

An advanced practice registered nurse, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and a United States Air Force veteran. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree at Union University in Jackson, TN. Sayward completed her clinical experiences at a VA Medical Center and community mental health centers, providing mental health care to diverse populations.
Sayward McCullough assesses, formulates diagnoses, provides medication management, and prepares treatment plans for the mental health needs of adults across the lifespan. Her interests and experience include anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

I'm a proponent of psychotherapy and the utilization of recovery models such as 12 Step programs and SMART Recovery. Since 2005, I've worked in various roles and behavioral healthcare settings including: inpatient psychiatry, detox/rehabs, corrections, mental health crisis, administration and outpatient in greater Norfolk, Baltimore and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I offer medication management, psychotherapy and Medication Assisted Treatment (Vivitrol & Suboxone). When appropriate, I will share my personal experience with behavioral health conditions in a general way so as to empathize and connect with you and/or your loved one. My ideal clients are those 18-years-old and better that may be seeking assistance with addiction and/or mood disorder concerns. I will consider adolescents on a case-by-case basis.

Dr. Louis M. Leone is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He was born in the Bronx and grew up in suburbia New York. He received his medical degree from Fatima College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He treats patients who are dealing with issues, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression and various types of substance abuse. Dr. Leone enjoys giving peace, clarity, dignity, and well-being to people in the moments when they wouldn't usually have such. He also enjoys the arts, literature, and music.
Jon Wren

Has experience working with individuals and groups in an outpatient setting. His areas of focus include sex addiction, substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. He utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing to empower clients to deal with life’s speedbumps and hopefully thrive.
Meg Lubas

Has over ten years of clinical experience working primarily in medical settings, supporting individuals and families adjusting to life with a chronic illness. Meg uses a person-centered framework to partner with clients and focus on client identified goals and approaches. Specialty areas include: grief/loss, behavioral sleep interventions, depression, and adjustment to medical stressors. Meg is currently providing services via telehealth.
Delia Welge

Delia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California (USC). While attending USC, Delia’s area of concentration was mental health with a sub-concentration in military social work. Delia also has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Connecticut State University (Eastern).
Delia has over 13 years of working in the mental health field in areas such as: case management, foster care, school social work, emergency mental health, inpatient and outpatient treatment settings and military social work. This experience has led to her extensive knowledge of resources within both the military and civilian communities.
Therapy used is sessions include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy -Insomnia (CBT-I).

Lori is an advanced practice registered nurse, board certified in adult gerontology and psychiatric mental health with 7 years of clinical experience to include emergency medicine, mental health issues, and addiction medicine. In October 2019, she played an integral role in opening an addiction stabilization unit within the emergency department in a Florida hospital. She currently provides Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Substance Use Disorder and has a strong passion to extend treatment to adolescents. Her approach is to meet patients where they are and work collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan to include medication with counseling and behavioral therapy options. Her goal is to empower patients and provide a non-judgmental environment to reach their long-term goals.
